KIP Stands for Keep It Positive.

KIP for Change seeks to increase a family’s or individual’s likelihood of remaining in stable housing by helping participants identify, develop, and navigate skills or services that mitigate their unique housing risks influenced by financial stability and literacy. This approach addresses nearterm solutions while also establishing positive long-term change and self-sustaining success.

Thank you

KIP is grateful to have the input and support of its advisors, Leonard Monfredo, Sarah McElvaine, and Brooke Rajcich, and the contributions of Seattle Law students, Jasmine Salguero and Diana Park.

Founded in honor of Christopher “Kip” Astolfi

We believe positive financial outcomes require a positive mindset. Kip Astolfi believed it, too. After struggling to find his footing, he ultimately achieved long-term financial stability for his wife and daughter through hard work and smart decision making–all while maintaining an attitude of positivity and honesty. Though he died suddenly at the age of 44, KIP for Change seeks to share Kip Astolfi’s principles with those looking to attain positive outcomes.

About our Brand

The logo mark visualizes three leaves, a symbol for growth and positivity, straightening out and standing tall. This is meant to represent the individuals that will be guided by KIP’s resources—and can also be seen as a family unit leaning on each other for support.
